PIMOBEN Solo 1.25 (Pimobendan Chewable Tablets 1.25 mg) is a veterinary medication for dogs formulated to support heart function and help manage heart failure. It contains 1.25 mg of Pimobendan per chewable tablet.
Uses:
- Treats congestive heart failure (CHF) due to myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM).
- Acts as a positive inotrope (improves the strength of heart muscle contractions) and vasodilator (expands blood vessels to reduce cardiac strain).
- Benefits include increased cardiac output, reduced fluid buildup, improved blood flow, and delayed progression of heart disease in dogs.
How to Use:
- Administered orally as directed by a veterinarian.
- Common dose: 0.25–0.3 mg/kg body weight per day, divided into two doses approximately 12 hours apart.
- For dogs only (not for cats).
